LGA political proportionality confirmed

Following the local elections held on Thursday 2 May 2024, the LGA’s political proportionality has now been calculated and independently verified. The results are as follows:Labour - 38.8% Conservative - 31.4% Liberal Democrat - 15.5% Independent/Green Party/Other - 14.3% Total - 100% Labour remains the largest group at the LGA. This means that Labour will retain the chair of the LGA and will be nominating Cllr Shaun Davies to remain as LGA Chair.  ENDS
