This programme will help to equip council leadership teams with skills to drive transformation and provide local authorities with support to deliver local priorities as well as their best value duty.
Providing councillors with access to support from skilled and experienced members with relevant transformation expertise.
Why would I use this? To connect and have a conversation around lessons learned with other members who have done something similar.
Our transformation learning and skills programme will offer development opportunities including support for councils in achieving their transformation priorities.
Gives councillors from across the country a safe space to network, discuss issues and trends effecting councils and hear from each other and guests on new policies, programmes, and practices.
Why would I use this? If you would like to connect with the wider sector and discuss transformation issues and ideas.
How much time does it require? One and a half hours every three months.
Two day training to give councillors the confidence, capability and awareness to share and lead the transformation agenda within their local authorities and local areas.
Why would I use this? If you wish to gain new skills or refresh old skills in transformation to learn how to champion, lead and scrutinise transformation programmes.
How much time does it require? Two full days in person.
Provides a unique development opportunity to explore possible solutions to overcome transformation based challenges and obstacles.
Why would I use this? If you have a challenge that you would like to develop solutions and overcome barriers in a group setting with peer councillors and officers.

Why would I use this? To benchmark your local authority across characteristics, enabling you to easily identify and prioritise areas you wish to focus resource on.
