The LGA's support offer for strategic authorities
The LGA’s offer for strategic authorities incorporates tools and support to deliver on key strategic priorities, while helping to drive change and improvement across the region. Foundational to all the LGA’s support are the principles of peer learning and the sharing of experiences. The offer has been co-designed with strategic authorities to ensure it reflects both their operational needs and strategic ambitions.
Support is available for all strategic authorities, with tailored offers for all stages of maturity. The offer will continue to be co-developed over time in response to changing sector needs and will be refreshed periodically.
Every strategic authority has access to a regional team and peers, who are experts in their regions and provide support tailored to local circumstances and need. This ranges from enabling authorities to build on and enhance existing good practice, through to support for specific challenges.
The following list outlines a range of support available to all strategic authorities and their constituent councils.
