I am delighted to be leading on the National Centre for Family Hubs for the Local Government Association. I have worked in the early years sector for over 30 years in various roles starting as a childminder when my children were young. I have 10 years’ experience of managing children’s centres and the last seven years I have managed the Early Language, Local Innovation and Excellence Programme at the LGA.  I have recently become a grandma to two beautiful granddaughters so I am hearing first hand from my daughters the support that is needed for new families.

I am looking forward to working with the you all over the coming months as Family Hubs develop and grow across the country."
