The Centre of Excellence will be a major investment by DfE in the capability of local authorities to use data and digital in children’s services, and the D2I consortium will work together to design it with the sector. A pilot campaign will soon be delivered in the West Midlands to promote local government careers for young people during October and November, as part of the government-funded ‘Make a Difference, Work for Your Local Council’ national recruitment campaign.
